Condolences to family and friends of former longtime WGN-A/CHICAGO and WGN-TV host and entertainment critic ROY LEONARD, who died THURSDAY (9/4) at 83 in EVANSTON, IL.

LEONARD, who started his career in the BOSTON market at stations like WHDH-A, WNAC-A, and the original versions of WHDH-TV and WNAC-TV, hosted a show at WGN radio from 1967 until his 1998 retirement, and hosted movies and celebrity interviews on WGN-TV.

He continued to post reviews and commentary in a blog at TRIBUNE's CHICAGONOW, most recently a review of "THE HUNDRED FOOT JOURNEY" on AUGUST 14th.
