SportsRadio 94WIP/Eagles Radiothon Raises More Than $290k For Area Youth

Sets New Record

CBS RADIO SPORTSRADIO 94WIP/PHILADELPHIA and the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES announced that the 2014 EAGLES RADIOTHON raised more than $290,000, exceeding last year’s total by more than $100,000 and setting a record.

All proceeds will benefit EAGLES YOUTH PARTNERSHIP (EYP) and its various programs that serve over 50,000 low income children in THE community every year with a focus on health and education programming.

The three-day auction that ran from TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2nd to THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4th offered EAGLES fans and 94WIP listeners the opportunity to bid on sports and entertainment experience prizes involving their favorite EAGLES players and SPORTSRADIO 94WIP radio personalities. Participating shows included ANGELO CATALDI & THE MORNING TEAM, MICHAEL BARKANN & IKE REESE, ANTHONY GARGANO & ROB ELLIS and JOSH INNES.

Underprivileged children in the Greater PHILADELPHIA area will now receive the vital health and educational services needed, thanks to this community-wide effort. It’s thrilling when sport becomes a force for good.”
