HUBBARD BROADCASTING Hot AC WTMX (101.9 THE MIX)/CHICAGO raised $1,403,229.61 for ANN & ROBERT H. LURIE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF CHICAGO during its 15th Annual ERIC & KATHY radiothon.
Thanks to the help from CHICAGO sports celebrities such as ANDREW SHAW and MARCUS KRUGER of the CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS, and actress/singer HILARY DUFF, proceeds raised during the ERIC & KATHY radiothon stays in CHICAGO and will be used locally for pediatric research, patient care, education and advocacy efforts.
From 6a-8p on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th, ERIC & KATHY broadcasted live from the CROWN SKY GARDEN of LURIE CHILDREN’S, airing the stories of children battling critical, or even fatal conditions in hopes of helping other children in need.
Since it began in 2000, the ERIC & KATHY radiothon has raised more than $26 million for LURIE CHILDREN’s since its inception in 2000.
