Bubba The Love Sponge Foundation Aids Fallen Deputy’s Family

Syndicated on-air personality BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE®  is putting his FOUNDATION in motion this morning to aid the family members of two CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC Sheriff Deputies who were shot while on duty. One Deputy succumbed to his wounds; the other remains hospitalized to receive further treatment.

The BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE® FOUNDATION will be sending $10,000 overnight to the widow of JOSEPH MATUSKOVIC to handle a portion of her expenses during this time. There is also a “Bikes for Badges” charity motorcycle ride set for OCTOBER 4th; all funds above and beyond $10,000 will go directly to Mrs. MATUSKOVIC.

“My foundation’s mission is to immediately offer financial relief for widows of fallen officers and deputies in our syndicated markets,” BUBBA said on-air.  “The last thing the Mrs. MATUSKOVIC needs right now is to worry about house bills, car insurance and things like that.  She needs to focus on closure and her family.

“Our heart goes out to Mrs. MATUSKOVIC, to the entire CHARLESTON area, the CHARLESTON PD, surrounding municipalities, the CHARLESTON [COUNTY] SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT," he concluded. "All officers.  We always have your back."
