  WEA PROMOTION has hired DIANE MONK-HARRISON as Mgr./MIDWEST and NORTHEAST Promotion, effective immediately.
  
  "DIANE is a true professional," said WEA VP/Promotion JORDAN PETTIT. "Her insane passion for music made her the perfect fit for our team."
  
  Most recently, DIANE served as VP/Promotion at HITSHOP RECORDS before the shuttering of its promotion team in JULY (NET NEWS 07/29). Other stops include MCA RECORDS, COLUMBIA RECORDS, and ARISTA NASHVILLE.
