ALL ACCESS sends get well wishes to CBS RADIO Hot AC WBMX (MIX 104.1)/BOSTON morning co-host KENNEDY, who will be out for the next four to six weeks, resting her voice after doctors recommended she do that.
On the station website, co-host KARSON wrote, "We would LOVE it (and we are sure she will, too) if you would send her 'get well' cards! We will make sure they get to her. Please send them to:

BRIGHTON, MA 02135KENNEDY also posted an explanation, writing, "Something I found out at the doctors this week ... That for an entire month I’ll be unable to speak. They found something strange on my vocal chords, and as soon as they saw it I said oh Lord. They tell me it’s something called a granuloma. From this point forward I’m going to call her Mona. The only way to make old Mona go away is to not talk for at least 30 days. So no longer will you hear me every morning on-air. I’ll be home learning to knit and tearing out my hair. Please take care of KARSON, SALT MIKE, ZACH and all. Keep them from talking too much about football. I love you all and already miss you the most ... but I’ll be back before you know it with lots of funny jokes. But seriously, thank you all for reaching out to me and your kind concern. It has made this very difficult time much easier. ELVIS and I thank you!"
