The CONCLAVE has announced this year's scholarship opportunities. They are available to students who want careers in media/radio/TV/Internet in any possible facet of broadcasting, including becoming an on-air personality, advertising/sales, programming, writing, news, sports, production.
Educational institutions awarding 2014 CONCLAVE scholarships include:
- The BILL GAVIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP, which includes application fees, books & supplies and tuition valued at $16,200, awarded by the SPECS HOWARD SCHOOL OF BROADCAST MEDIA ARTS, SOUTHFIELD, MI. Competition for this scholarship will begin shortly with details forthcoming.
- The DENNIS BECKER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP -- a half-tuition scholarship valued at $17,000, awarded by the SANFORD BROWN COLLEGE, MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN.
- The CONCLAVE MUSIC INDUSTRY SCHOLARSHIP -- a 25-50% tuition discount valued up to $20,000 awarded by the MCNALLY SMITH COLLEGE OF MUSIC, ST PAUL, MN
- Details regarding THE MARC BIRGER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP to KEAN UNIVERSITY and THE DOUG LEE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP will be announced soon.
Recipients of the 2014 CONCLAVE Scholarships will be presented their awards at the 39th annual CONCLAVE LEARNING CONFERENCE, NOVEMBER 14th-15th at the CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL & SUITES, BLOOMINGTON, MN.
