CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES OF THE VALLEY, INC. has filed for a Silent STA for KSJM/ST. JAMES, MN while it makes "some technical changes."
In other filings with the FCC, SMILE FM has requested a Silent STA for WKKM/SPEAKER TOWNSHIP, MI while it waits for FCC approval of its new site.
DIGITY COMPANIES has closed on the purchase of THREE EAGLES COMMUNICATIONS, owner of 48 stations in NEBRASKA, IOWA, MINNESOTA, and SOUTH DAKOTA, for $66.5 million.
MESA BROADCASTING INC. has closed on the sale of K249BX/EAST SALT CREEK, CO to KBDX L.L.C. for $12,500.
J. THOMAS DEVELOPMENT OF NM, INC. has closed on the sale of Regional Mexican KRZE-A (K-VIVA)/FARMINGTON, NM to MAJESTIC MEDIA, INC. for $40,000.
And JVC MEDIA has closed on the $850,000 purchase of Adult Standards WSVU-A and translators W295BJ and W240CI (SEAVIEW AM 960)/NORTH PALM BEACH, FL from NORTH PALM BEACH BROADCASTING. EDDIE ESSERMAN of MEDIA SERVICES GROUP represented the seller in the deal.
The FCC also allocated Channel 258C2 as a tribal allotment to ROUGH ROCK, AZ, pursuant to a petition by THE NAVAJO NATION.
And low power FM construction permits were granted to ROCA ETERNA, INC. at GRAND JUNCTION, CO and CLOVIS SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH at CLOVIS, NM.
