PHILADELPHIA BUSINESS JOURNAL is reporting that CBS RADIO and the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES have inked a one-year extension of their deal to air the PHILLIES on News-Talk WPHT-A and Sports WIP-F/PHILADELPHIA. Terms were not disclosed.
In a statement, CBS RADIO SVP/Market Manager MARC RAYFIELD said, “While we can’t provide specifics, I am pleased to report that we have agreed to an extension of our partnership with the PHILLIES.”
The parties' current three-year deal expires after the 2015 season. Incumbent radio broadcasters SCOTT FRANZKE and LARRY (L.A.) ANDERSEN and back-up play-by-play voice/host JIM JACKSON are expected to return.
