Jimmy Kimmel, Carson Daly Sell Sitcom Pilot To ABC

JIMMY KIMMEL and his longtime friend CBS RADIO Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP RADIO)/LOS ANGELES host and NBC television personality CARSON DALY have sold a sitcom pilot to ABC.

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER reports that KIMMEL, who was a longtime radio host and worked with DALY at KROQ/LOS ANGELES before becoming a TV personality, and DALY are paired with veteran sitcom writer/producer DAN FOGELMAN in creating the show, which is about a former VJ who ends up taking a "morning zoo" radio job and moving in with his parents, based loosely on DALY's post-MTV career.
