Power of Urban Radio Forum To Focus On Trillion-Dollar African-American Consumer Market

The 14th POWER OF URBAN RADIO FORUM is set for THURSDAY OCTOBER 2nd in WASHINGTON, D.C. at the WESTIN CITY CENTER. The event is being presented by KIZART MEDIA PARTNERS, Inc. in partnership with the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK OWNED BROADCASTERS (NABOB).
This years FORUM will focus on the strategic importance of the trillion dollar African American consumer market. Managing Partner/Founder of COMMON GROUND SHERMAN WRIGHT, will deliver the keynote address. COMMON GROUND has emerged as one of the leaders in multicultural marketing strategy with clients such as COCA COLA, MILLER BEER, and VERIZON.
AARP VP/African American Marketing EDNA KANE WILLIAMS and TOYOTA USA VP/African American Strategy will both receive National Marketer Awards.
Some of the leaders in Media Agency Activation--OMD, MEDIA VEST USA, AGENCY OF OTHERS, LINTAS CAMPBELL EWALD, and OPTIMEDIA will provide insight on how they invest their clients budgets.
Global Leaders from TRACFONE, L'OREAL, TOYOTA USA, AARP, and AMERIAN FAMILY INSURANCE will discuss the importance of the trillion dollar African American market. RAB CEO/Pres. ERICA FARBER will provide an overview of the radio industry. She will also lead a panel discussion with executives from EMMIS, SERVICE BROADCASTING, RADIO ONE, PERRY BROADCASTING, and iHEARTMEDIA. FCC Chairman TOM WHEELER will deliver a special address at the luncheon.
