The annual STAND UP FOR HEROES benefit, which is scheduled for NOVEMBER 5th at NEW YORK’s THEATER AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, will feature appearances by BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, LOUIS C.K., JOHN OLIVER and others, ROLLING STONE reports.
The benefit, organized by the BOB WOODRUFF FOUNDATION and the NEW YORK COMEDY FESTIVAL, raises funds for injured servicemembers and their families.
The STAND UP FOR HEROES BENEFIT has raised more than $21 million in the six years it has been held in NEW YORK CITY. Last year, SPRINGSTEEN played a three-song acoustic set, told dirty jokes and generated $250,000 by auctioning off an electric guitar, an hour of personal guitar lessons and an invitation to watch him record at his home studio. .
