BEASLEY Sports WQAM-A/MIAMI host and former MIAMI DOLPHINS player JOE ROSE is retiring from his other gig, Sports Anchor at NBC O&O WTVJ (TV) (NBC 6)/MIAMI.
WTVJ Pres./GM LARRY OLEVITCH said, “JOE has covered Super Bowls, the HEAT’s NBA Championships, the MARLINS’ World Series Championships, the HURRICANES’ National Championships and his beloved MIAMI DOLPHINS, all with his insightful and unique charm. We are grateful to JOE’s commitment to NBC 6 and our viewers and we will be sure to celebrate his tenure at the station later this year with a special send-off.”
ROSE said, “It’s time for me to slow down and get a decent night’s sleep! It’s been a fun ride and I’ve been able to cover a lot of major sporting events that I never could have if it wasn’t for NBC 6.”
ROSE continues to host his WQAM morning show with CURTIS STEVENSON.
