JMJ BROADCASTING Classic Country KTPK/TOPEKA, KS has named SKEETER NASH to mornings. NASH comes from KIXS/VICTORIA, TX where he also handled mornings.
KTPK OM ROGER PRICE advised that SKEETER will drop the last name "because of the evil-ness that lurks on another station in the market." PRICE and SKEETER previously worked head-to-head in JONESBORO, AR a decade ago and will now re-unite to work together.
"[SKEETER] kicked my butt in afternoon drive in ARKANSAS, so now I want him to come to TOPEKA and kick some butt in mornings," explained PRICE.
SKEETER is a 34-year vet who replaces MARC BRADLEY in morning drive beginning MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th. BRADLEY stays with KTPK to take on a combined programming and promotions role.
Congratulate SKEETER here.
