Grand Ole Opry Releases Birthday Weekend Schedule

The GRAND OLE OPRY  will celebrate its 89th birthday on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10th and SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11th.  The celebration will feature four weekend OPRY shows, a concert by OPRY member CRAIG MORGAN, backstage tours, free music on the OPRY PLAZA, and more.

LADY ANTEBELLUM and CHRIS JANSON are among the artists slated to open the celebration during the two FRIDAY (10/10) performances. TRACE ADKINS, KEB' MO' and ABC-TV "Nashville" star CLARE BOWEN are confirmed for SATURDAY (10/11) entertainment.

MORGAN will also perform an "OPRY Birthday Concert" on SATURDAY (10/11) at 3p (CT).  The OPRY PLAZA will be set with food, activities and a free music stage throughout the day. GREG BATES is scheduled to headline the free music stage at 5p (CT).
