And ALLEN MEDIA STATIONS, LLC has closed on the sale of Classic Hits WMOV-A/RAVENSWOOD, WV and SPICEMAN RADIO, LLC has closed on the sale of W293AK/RIPLEY, WV to VANDALIA MEDIA PARTNERS, LLC for $80,000.
In a deal not filed with the FCC, SOCO RADIO AND MEDIA is taking over Oldies KFVR (I-25 RADIO) and News-Talk KWRP-A (I-25 TALK RADIO)/PUEBLO, CO and KWRP translators K262BB/BOONE, CO and K230BB/FOWLER, CO in an LMA from UNITED STATES CP, LLC. SOCO operates AC KFEZ (EASY 101.3) and Top 40/Rhythmic KJQY (POWER 103.3)/PUEBLO under LMAs.
Also, the FCC has granted the upgrade of EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION's K273BH/FRIDLEY-MINNEAPOLIS from the WELLS FARGO CENTER to the IDS CENTER in MINNEAPOLIS with an increase from 41 to 250 watts, reports NORTHPINE.COM. The translator carries EMF's AIR-1 format but will air an iHEARTMEDIA format after upgrading; the grant was over two informal objections by LAKELAND BROADCASTING and JEFF SIBERT.
