The DAILY HERALD of suburban CHICAGO is reporting that CUMULUS News-Talk WLS-A/CHICAGO morning co-host and former Republican gubernatorial candidate DAN PROFT is planning to spend $2 million from his political action committee to elect Republicans to the ILLINOIS state house.
PROFT runs the LIBERTY PRINCIPLES PAC, which has been active in the Republican primaries and is producing ads and mailers for candidates in suburban CHICAGO districts.
"We think that there needs to be more balance in state government," PROFT told the HERALD. Democrats have a wide lead in the amount of money raised to spend on the elections in ILLINOIS.
