KTRS To Air Saint Louis FC Soccer Matches

CH HOLDINGS News-Talk-Sports KTRS-A/ST. LOUIS will air matches of the new SAINT LOUIS FC. soccer team next season. The club starts play in the USL PRO minor league affiliated with MLS; ST. LOUIS, COLORADO SPRINGS, and TULSA are joining the conference and DETROIT is a possible fourth addition, while ORLANDO is moving up to MLS, the fifth USL PRO club to ascend to the top NORTH AMERICAN pro league after SEATTLE, VANCOUVER, PORTLAND, and MONTREAL.
BILL MCDERMOTT will handle play-by-play, with the station also to air a soccer show for TUESDAYS and a weekly coach's show.
SAINT LOUIS FC Executive Director PATRICK BARRY said, "We’re very excited about the opportunity to work with KTRS next season. KTRS has been a well-respected member of the ST. LOUIS media landscape for years, and they will provide great coverage of our club both on and off the field in the years to come."
Team GM JEREMY ALUMBAUGH added, "The agreement with KTRS not only aims to benefit the two parties involved; it also intends to serve the ST. LOUIS soccer community as a whole. We want to be an asset to the greater ST. LOUIS area in as many ways as possible, and this relationship with KTRS will certainly help us reach that goal."
