LANGER BROADCASTING has been testing its PHILADELPHIA AM move-in, and the official launch comes TODAY, as daytimer WFYL-A, newly relicensed to PHILLY suburb KING OF PRUSSIA, begins regular programming with Talk from LANGER's NATIONAL RADIO NETWORK and will later add brokered programming. The station previously served the CHAMBERSBURG, PA area licensed to MCCONNELSBURG on 1580 AM; the new facility is at 1180 AM with 420 watts nondirectional from a transmitter site in WEST NORRITON.
