SAN TAN EDUCATIONAL MEDIA Alternative KUKQ (KQ99.1 FM)/MESA, AZ flipped to Dance last FRIDAY (9/26) as "WOW 99.1" with new call letters KOWO.
Owner SHON WHITE told ALL ACCESS, "With Full Power KDKB flipping to Mainstream Alternative we just did not feel with our little station that we would be able to grow in a way needed to be financially viable. So we said goodbye to the historic KUKQ call letters and are now KOWO-FM WOW 99.1. Wasn’t an easy decision to make the change. But that’s Radio..."
