GOJOCK.NET, a new collaborative website designed to help on-air hosts create great radio, has launched and is available now for free registration. GOJOCK is the brainchild of ISAIAH "IZZY" KNIGHT, who handles afternoon drive for POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE Contemporary Christian WPAR (SPIRIT FM)/ROANOKE-LYNCHBURG.
The software allows radio hosts to come together, contribute and improve the content and relevance of their breaks. In it's current beta form, the algorithm is actively learning the likes, dislikes and tastes of the collaborators. Eventually the software will go out and find content that will add to what the radio participants each bring to the table.
IZZY explained to ALL ACCESS, "GOJOCK is all about creating tools to create great radio. Oh sure, there are a few bugs here and there, but that's what makes the cutting edge fun! 24 stations have already signed up, and the prep & bin features are absolutey free until the end of the year. In a world of budget cuts, consolidation and understaffing, personalities need smart tools to collaborate effectively and fill the gaps. That's what GOJOCK.net is going to do, starting with prep. Upcoming releases will include keeping personalities and voice trackers connected with promos, and a feature to share produced content."
