COX MEDIA GROUP (CMG) RADIO has reorganized its executive hierarchy in ATLANTA, SAN ANTONIO and TULSA, effective immediately. COX MEDIA GROUP VP DONNA HALL will lead the five-station ATLANTA cluster as VP/GM; ATLANTA VP/GM BEN REED will head up SAN ANTONIO’s seven-station group; and SAN ANTONIO VP/GM DAN LAWRIE will assume oversight of TULSA’s four-station group.
HALL joined COX RADIO in DAYTON in 1989, served in various sales leadership posts until becoming VP and GM in 1997, then became SVP/Marketing and Client Solutions for CMG/OHIO. REED earlier served in various leadership posts in SAN ANTONIO before moving to Atlanta in 2012. He has held various positions from Account Manager, LSM, GSM, Market Manager, Regional VP and Group VP. LAWRIE previously was VP and GM in TULSA from 2003 until 2010. He will help continue the cross-platform collaboration work with CMG’s TULSA TV group, as well as the strong partnership with COX COMMUNICATIONS.
“We are thrilled that we can tap such phenomenal internal talent across COX for these important leadership positions,” CMG EVP/Radio KIM GUTHRIE said. “BEN, DAN and DONNA are proven leaders who know how to build strategic, award-winning teams.”
