CHRISTIAN MUSIC BROADCASTERS (CMB) have scheduled the first of their regional summits to be held JANUARY 29th-30th, at ECCLESIA CHURCH in HOUSTON.  THURSDAY, JANUARY 29th will focus on Digital/Social Media, and the topic of FRIDAY, JANUARY 30th will be Programming.

WPOZ/ORLANDO Promotions-Social Media Dir./CAROL ELLINGSON commented, "Attending the social media summit will give you a glimpse of why it is so important to have a social strategy and even bigger, why it’s so important to have every department on board.  If you would like to lead the conversation or even be part of the conversation already happening about you by your listeners, then your programmers/decision makers, promotions, social people and even air staff need to be at the Digital/Social Media summit together!  It’s a whole new world out there for
radio, and social is now an even more important part of it."

Regarding the programming focus of the second day, WKNZ/MILFORD PD/BILL LURWICK said. "One of the first things I asked the CMB Leadership when I arrived in FLORIDA in SEPTEMBER for the 2014 MOMENTUM Conference was, ' Are we having another Programming Summit in JANUARY?  It was a highlight of my year and something with huge takeaway for me'.  I'm so excited that the Summits are back again in 2015.  Everything about the speakers, presentation, team-building, and fellowship was amazing.
