CBS RADIO Country KFRG (K-FROG)/RIVERSIDE confirmed TODAY (10/3) what ALL ACCESS had previously reported (NET NEWS 9/25), announcing that 21-year station vet and current midday host HEATHER FROGLEAR has teamed with longtime morning man SCOTT WARD for “THE SCOTT AND HEATHER SHOW.” The new team debuted on WEDNESDAY (10/1).
Both WARD and FROGLEAR will retain their additional roles with the station, as MD and Dir./Promotions, respectively.
FROGLEAR succeeds TOMMY CARRERA, who exited due to restructuring last MONTH (NET NEWS 9/25).
“We very fortunate to be able to team two people who have been on-air with us for 20 years,” said KFRG PD LEE DOUGLAS. “Both SCOTT and HEATHER are so well known in the community that they make perfect sense for our new morning show. I’m also happy that our current morning show producer, KELLI GREEN will continue to add her voice to the show. SCOTT, HEATHER and KELLI will not only be entertaining and play great music, but they will also be actively engaged with listeners through the many social avenues that we have available”.
CHRISTY MCLEAP, who previously shared middays with FROGLEAR now extends her shift to the full 10a-3p daypart. All other airshifts remain the same, with DOUGLAS handing afternoons and VICKI PEPPER hosting nights.
