An era ends at the MINORITY MEDIA AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS COUNCIL as DAVID HONIG steps down as Pres./CEO and NAACP General Counsel and Secretary KIM M. KEENAN joins as HONIG's replacement. HONIG will continue to serve as Pres. Emeritus/General Counsel of the MMTC, which he co-founded.
KEENAN said, “I am thrilled to join the MMTC staff and to pursue my passion in media and telecommunications law, where I started my career. I have always admired the way MMTC advocates for diversity and inclusion in the most important industries in the world, and I embrace this opportunity to contribute my experience and vision to their work.”
HONIG added, “I couldn’t be prouder to have a replacement as brilliant and capable as KIM KEENAN. I know MMTC is in great hands, and I look forward to watching her shape the organization with her own vision.”
