RENDA BROADCASTING CORP. OF NEVADA is selling two of its JACKSONVILLE-area FMs -- Classic Rock WSOS-F (CLASSIC ROCK 94.1)/FRUIT COVE, FL and Country WMUV (100.7 THE BULL)/BRUNSWICK, GA -- to CHESAPEAKE-PORTSMOUTH BROADCASTING CORP. for $3.7 million.
In other filings with the FCC, COLUMBIA BIBLE COLLEGE BROADCASTING CO. is selling noncommercial Contemporary Christian WRCM (NEW LIFE 91.9)/WINGATE-CHARLOTTE, NC, its simulcast partner WRZM/BOILING SPRINGS, NC, and Contemporary Christian WMHK/COLUMBIA, SC to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $10,350,000. EMF will also buy W268BU/MOORESVILLE, NC from COLUMBIA, which filed in JULY to buy the translator from TRIAD FAMILY NETWORK for $150,000.
JUAN ALBERTO AYALA is selling W227CU/CARY, NC to CURTIS MEDIA's EASTERN AIRWAVES, LLC for $150,000.
And PATRICIA J. YOUNG is selling K268BT/SHIVWITS, UT and K226BQ and K242BV/ST. GEORGE, UT to CANYON MEDIA GROUP, LLC for $144,000 in a promissory note.
Soco Strikes Again With Another Colorado Springs LMA
Also, SOCO RADIO has inked an additional LMA in the COLORADO SPRINGS market, adding management of UNITED STATES CP LLC News-Talk KCBR-A and FM translator K253AH. Last week, SOCO announced an LMA of Oldies KFVR (I-25 RADIO) and News-Talk KWRP-A (I-25 TALK RADIO)/PUEBLO, CO and KWRP translators K262BB/BOONE, CO and K230BB/FOWLER, CO, all also from UNITED STATES CP LLC; SOCO operates AC KFEZ (EASY 101.3) and Top 40/Rhythmic KJQY (POWER 103.3)/PUEBLO under LMAs.
