BMI Elects Paul Karpowicz Chairman, New Board Members

Board Election

MEREDITH LOCAL MEDIA GROUP Pres. PAUL KARPOWICZ was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of BMI at a Board meeting held in NASHVILLE. Most recently Vice Chair of the BMI Board of Directors, KARPOWICZ succeeds SHERIDAN BROADCASTING CORP. Vice Chairman SUSAN DAVENPORT AUSTIN, who was elected Presiding Director at the meeting.

Also at its annual shareholder meeting, newly elected to the Board were BEASLEY BROADCAST GROUP EVP/CFO CAROLINE BEASLEY and COX MEDIA GROUP Pres. WILLIAM S. HOFFMAN. Re-elected to the Board were DISPATCH BROADCAST GROUP Vice Chairman/CEO MICHAEL FIORILE; RADIO ONE Founder/Chairperson CATHERINE L. HUGHES; and JEROME L. KERSTING. All will serve terms that will expire in 2018.
