HUBBARD Classic Rocker KSLX/PHOENIX has named radio veteran PAUL “NEANDERPAUL” MARSHALL, to do nights, effective OCTOBER 13th. Night-timer RANDI SCOTT segues to middays.
MARSHALL previously was PD at crosstown Rocker KDKB before it flipped to Alternative. (NET NEWS, 9/17) “Expect the night show to become more listener-interactive and feature a lot of great music with PAUL’s unique style," PD JIM OWEN said. "RANDI SCOTT gets to display her special personality while the sun is up, giving workplaces around THE VALLEY even more reason to crank up KSLX.”
"I want to thank KSLX PD JIM OWEN, VP-Market Manager TRIP REEB and HUBBARD for allowing me to achieve my dream of being ALICE COOPER's opening act," MARSHALL said.
Added RANDI SCOTT, “Here comes the sun! After four dynamic years hosting the nightshift at KSLX, I'm thrilled to evolve my radio career and host middays on the valley's Classic Rock Station! Although I’ll miss 'Gettin The Led Out' the vision that JIM OWEN and everyone at HUBBARD BROADCASTING have cultivated for me is exciting; its an honor to work with such an exceptional team of professionals."
