Songwriter Dan Wilson Signs Publishing Pact With Big Deal Music, BMG Chrysalis

DAN WILSON, the one-time SEMISONIC leader who earned GRAMMY AWARDS for his collaborations with ADELE and THE DIXIE CHICKS, among others, has signed a publishing deal with BIG DEAL MUSIC under its joint venture deal with BMG CHRYSALIS US. BIG DEAL will now also exclusively handle the SEMISONIC back catalog.
WILSON's credits include co-writing ADELE's "Someone Like You" and DIXIE CHICKS' "Not Ready to Make Nice," for which he received two GRAMMY AWARDS.
The singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and occasional cartoonist first gained fame as the lead singer of the band SEMISONIC, for which he wrote the GRAMMY-nominated smash "Closing Time," as well as other international hits including "Secret Smile" and "Chemistry."
As a songwriter and producer, WILSON has worked with a diverse group of artists including JOHN LEGEND, PRESERVATION HALL JAZZ BAND, TAYLOR SWIFT, JIM JAMES, PINK, DIERKS BENTLEY,NAS, JOSH GROBAN, WEEZER and CAROLE KING, among many others.
