NASHVILLE MAYOR KARL DEAN TODAY (10/15) appointed ED HARDY as Co-Chair of the MUSIC CITY MUSIC COUNCIL, which serves as a partnership between the MAYOR’s office, NASHVILLE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and THE NASHVILLE CONVENTION & VISITORS CORP. in an effort to capitalize on NASHVILLE’s identity as MUSIC CITY.
HARDY is a past chairman of NASHVILLE CONVENTION AND VISITORS CORP., former President of GREAT AMERICAN COUNTRY and currently serves as Chairman of the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION Board of Directors.
“ED has a wealth of experience that will help us continue to promote our MUSIC CITY brand and attract entertainment companies to our city,” said MAYOR DEAN. “ED is well liked and highly respected, and with his work with two giants in the music industry -- the COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION and GREAT AMERICAN COUNTRY -- we are fortunate to have him lead the efforts of our Music Council.”
