GOOGLE launched its updated version of GOOGLE PLAY MUSIC featuring its first integration with SONGZA, a company that GOOGLE acquired this summer that offers expert curated music stations based on your activities of the moment.
GOOGLE has added SONGZA's “concierge” music feature to the GOOGLE PLAY MUSIC subscription streaming service. This feature anticipates what the user is doing at a given time and offers an expert curated playlist for that activity. Listeners will be prompted to pick a radio station for any mood, activity or time of day.
GOOGLE PLAY subscribers need to simply open up the app and will be prompted to play music based on current activities, including grocery shopping, exercising, etc, all curated by GOOGLE PLAY's team of music experts, which include musicians, DJs, critics, etc.
