It's been a busy week for REPUBLIC RECORDS' MILKY CHANCE as the duo were awarded Gold plaques for their single "Stolen Dance," saw the U.S. release of their debut album "Sadnecessary" and performed their first U.S. concert MONDAY night (10/20) at the legendary TROUBADOUR in HOLLYWOOD.
Before the show, the label brought together industry peeps for a meet and greet at TRATTORIA AMICI, just around the corner in BEVERLY HILLS, where the band's singer/guitarist CLEMENS REHBEIN and DJ/musician PHILIPP DAUSCH chatted with attendees and posed for pictures.
Then, at the sold-out showcase, they entertained the sold-out audience with a music mix featuring Pop, Folk and Reggae elements that kept everyone moving throughout the show. Opening with "Stunner," and "Fairytail," many people in the audience sang along with every word, some at the top of their lungs (and you know who you are).
The show closer was going to be their current smash, "Stolen Dance", but the audience had other plans and began chanting the band's name, until they came back out for the final number, "Down By The River."
ALL ACCESS thanks our REPUBLIC hosts and of course MILKY CHANCE for a fine evening of entertainment.
