WKUZ: One Of Three Format Flips

There has been a wave of Country format flips in the past few days, including PRARIE Oldies KWPC-A/MUSCATINE, IA, which made the change to Classic Country, with no staff changes and local programming, helmed by TONY LOCONSOLE.

Another Classic Country flip at COLONIAL Sports WVTT HS2/OLEAN, NY, when the station became “93.9 THE BRAND,” via translator. It now joins mainstream Country sister WBYB, with APD/Brand Mgr./Morning multi-tasker MAT MCCOY adding programming chores for WVTT.

Additionally, UPPER WABASH AC WKUZ/WABASH, IN has gone Country, as “95.9, KISS FM.” CHARLES ADAMS is PD and handling 6a-2p on the air, with staffer SONIA HOLLEY covering 2-7p.
