The BEVERLY HILLS/HOLLYWOOD NAACP will present TONI BRAXTON with its prestigious SPIRIT AWARD. Her lifelong friend, KENNETH "BABYFACE" EDMONDS will do the honors at the 24th ANNUAL NAACP THEATRE AWARDS at the SABAN THEATRE on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 17th.
The SPIRIT AWARD is presented every year to an individual who brings energy, tenacity, innovation, commitment, talent, and spirit, to the theater scene. TONI’s performance in the Broadway musical “After Midnight” alongside EDMONDS, serves as a testament to her talents.
“TONI BRAXTON is an amazing talent. Six GRAMMYS, seven AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS, television and Broadway actress,” said NAACP THEATRE AWARDS Exec. Producer TIA BOYD. “We are thrilled to show our admiration and will highlight her theatrical career in a momentous way.”
