For the second time DETROIT firehouse Ladder Company 22 has had their saws stolen. The saws are used to breach roof to let the heat out during a fire. The $2,000 saws were stolen from right under their noses while fighting a fire.
GREATER MEDIA Classic Rock WCSX/DETROIT morning show of TRUDI & JIM were upset when they heard the news YESTERDAY morning. "These saws are used to save lives," said JIM O'BRIEN. "We need to do something." So after JIM & TRUDI got off the air, they called their friend BOB SEGER to see if he'd donate an autographed guitar to help raise funds for the firehouse.
The DETROIT Rock Legend did something even better; he offered to buy them the saws.
