ALL ACCESS NASHVILLE Editor RJ CURTIS had a rare chance to sit face-to-face with CUMULUS EVP/Programming & Content JOHN DICKEY and BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP President/CEO SCOTT BORCHETTA, to talk about their NASH ICON MUSIC joint venture.

“We're not coming in to this with any kind of free pass,” said BORCHETTA. “We have to make compelling music and continue to do our jobs as a record company.”

Commenting on the strong start for the NASH ICON radio brand, DICKEY said, “OCTOBER is not in the books yet, but we've had the opportunity to see a little bit ahead with NIELSEN … OCTOBER is going to be stronger than SEPTEMBER.”
