Record promo vet RICK BAUMGARTNER is leaving the music biz after 26 years to join NAT SHERMAN INTERNATIONAL as Regional Premium Cigar Sales Representative.

As BAUMGARTNER posted on his FACEBOOK page during the weekend, “Most of you are aware of my passion for cigars and I am excited to be given this incredible opportunity. There are so many memories made through the years that I will take with me forever. Thanks for all the adds, conversions, dinners, shows, station visits and conference room performances. There isn’t enough space to name each one of you individually, but just know, you will always be a part of me and I appreciate everything we accomplished during my 26 years. Continued success to you all.”

BAUMGARTNER was most recently with HITSHOP RECORDS as Dir./National Promotion, but compiled an impressive resume during his career, with stops that included BLACK RIVER, WARNER BROS., DECCA, ATLANTIC, BROKEN BOW and EQUITY among others.
