WMDH Taps Deacon For Mornings

CUMULUS Country WMDH (NASH FM)/MUNCIE, IN has named former ENTERCOM Top 40 WZPL/INDIANAPOLIS personality DEACON to mornings.

He succeeds JEFF SLOAN, who left the station earlier this MONTH for a job outside the radio business (NET NEWS 10/14).

“Hosting a morning show has always been my dream,” said DEACON. “To get that opportunity in this area where my family is from, where I spent a large part of my childhood … why wouldn’t I come to NASH FM?”

DEACON spent the last two years at ‘ZPL handling middays; previously, he spent time at RADIO ONE crosstown Top 40 WNOU. He’ll be joined by AMANDA ROLLEN, with MIKE LEE handling news; they had been handling mornings on an interim basis following SLOAN’s departure.
