JEFFREY LAROCQUE, a member of the crew of iHEARTMEDIA Rock WMMS/CLEVELAND-based syndicated ROVER'S MORNING GLORY, is publishing a novel, and pre-orders online have outpaced even NEW YORK Governor ANDREW CUOMO's first-week book sales.
LAROCQUE's roman à clef "Blood in the Studio." focusing on the fictional, revenge-seeking "Larry Jaroque" who works on a radio show hosted by "Grover," sold over 1,000 copies in 24 hours upon its OCTOBER 17th pre-order release, compared to CUOMO's "All Things Possible: Setbacks and Success in Politics and Life," which sold 945 copies in its first week, according to a release from ROVER citing NIELSEN BookScan.
ROVER, whose own ROVERMEDIA, INC. released the book, said, “We had no idea what to expect when we released 'Blood in the Studio,' and we’ve been overwhelmed by the response. Our goal now is to get the book on THE NEW YORK TIMES best-sellers list when it ships in NOVEMBER.”
