DICKEY BROADCASTING Sports WCNN-A-W229AG (680 THE FAN)/ATLANTA has inked a multi-year agreement with college football's CHICK-FIL-A PEACH BOWL and CHICK-FIL-A KICKOFF GAME, with the station becoming “The Exclusive Radio Station of the CHICK-FIL-A PEACH BOWL and CHICK-FIL-A KICKOFF GAME.” The deal includes local terrestrial play-by-play as well as a sales, marketing and revenue partnership.
680 THE FAN’s Owner/President DAVID DICKEY said, “We are proud to announce this content, marketing and sales-based partnership. These games are an integral part of the sports landscape in ATLANTA, so it is natural that THE FAN’s college football experts assume the responsibility of executing world-class play-by-play for both games. Furthermore, we look forward to building an innovative partnership with GARY STOKAN and his team for many years to come.”
STOKAN, President of the PEACH BOWL, added, "With our move into the College Football Playoff it was critical that we form partnerships with leaders, and 680 THE FAN is undoubtedly the best in this market when it comes to connecting with the sports fan. The CHICK-FIL-A PEACH BOWL and the CHICK-FIL-A KICKOFF GAME look forward to many years on air, as we continue to grow both games, and host a national semifinal in 2016.”
