WKLB Earns Special Honor At Local Children's Hospital

The Country 102.5 Healing Garden Is Now Open

TUFTS FLOATING HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN in BOSTON has named its HEALING GARDEN after GREATER MEDIA Country WKLB (COUNTRY 102.5)/BOSTON.

The COUNTRY 102.5 HEALING GARDEN is an outdoor space where pediatric patients and their families can escape the stuffiness of the hospital rooms and enjoy fresh air and sunshine.  The attached ACE'S PLACE playroom will also give children the chance to explore the garden area even while treatments are in progress.

"We are so proud and humbled to have the HEALING GARDEN named after COUNTRY 102.5," stated WKLB PD MIKE BROPHEY.  "Our logo is on the door.  Funds we helped raise were used to reconstruct and beautify the area for patients and their families to enjoy.  It's a great moment for GREATER MEDIA and COUNTRY 102.5."

In honor of 'KLB's on-going support of TUFTS FLOATING HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN, the space will also be home to Country music artists who come to perform for the patients as part of the "COUNTRY 102.5 HEALING TOUR."  WKLB has hosted multiple concerts in recent years in the BOSTON area in an effort to raise funding for the HEALING GARDEN.
