CHERRY CREEK RADIO is buying Adult Standards KMTX-A-K242BB (CLASSY 950)/HELENA, MT from KEVIN TERRY's THE MONTANA RADIO COMPANY, LLC for an undisclosed price and is flipping the stations to News-Talk by moving the format and calls of new sister KCAP-A from 1340 AM, reports the HELENA INDEPENDENT RECORD. The deal, including an LMA beginning TODAY (11/4), has yet to appear in the FCC database.
In filings with the FCC, BASE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has closed on the donation of Sports WODY-A/FIELDALE, VA to POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE RADIO, INC.
BLISS COMMUNICATIONS, INC.'s sale of News-Talk WRJN-A and AC WEZY (LITE ROCK 92.1)/RACINE, WI and News-Talk WBKV-A and Country WBWI/WEST BEND, WI to MAGNUM COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $2.25 million has closed.
CONNOISSEUR MEDIA LICENSES, LLC has closed on the sale of Regional Mexican KBBX-F (RADIO LOBO 97.7 FM)/NEBRASKA CITY-OMAHA-LINCOLN, NE to FLOOD COMMUNICATIONS OF OMAHA, LLC for $4.7 million.
And MMTC BROADCASTING LLC has closed on the sale of Silent WDTW-A/DEARBORN-DETROIT, one of the AM stations donated to it by CLEAR CHANNEL, to PEDRO ZAMORA for $100,000.
