Longtime News-Talk programmer PAUL DUCKWORTH tells ALL ACCESS that he is retiring from SINCLAIR News KOMO-A-F and News-Talk KVI-A/SEATTLE. His current stint at the stations will end FRIDAY (11/7) after two-and-a-half years; he previously served as PD at the stations in 1997-2005 and has also programmed WMAL-A/WASHINGTON, KPAM-A/PORTLAND, KVI-A/SEATTLE, and WDBO-A/ORLANDO and KLIF-A/DALLAS.
DUCKWORTH noted that he has left the business before ("I know what you’re saying ...'you’ve already retired twice and keep coming back, why should we believe you this time?' No promises, but I think this time it may stick. I love the business, but it’s time for a break ... probably a nice LONG one") and adds that he is "leaving behind an unbelievable group of people here in SEATTLE. They’re the best!"
