NRG MEDIA/WAUSAU-STEVENS POINT, WI OM RW SMITH, who oversees the four-station cluster that includes Country WYTE, has resigned in order to be closer to his family. SMITH, who also handled day-to-day on WYTE, will remain with the stations through FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12th, while a search for his successor is conducted.

He joined NRG in APRIL of 2013, following a long stint as PD for CUMULUS Country KJJY and Sports KBGG-A/DES MOINES (NET NEWS 4/1/13).
