Congratulations to MCA NASHVILLE’s SAM HUNT and the entire UMG NASHVILLE team on a #1 Country album debut for HUNT’s “Montevallo,” which sold more than 68,000 first-week copies, according to NIELSEN SOUNDSCAN.

TODAY’s (11/5) sales figures for HUNT's debut album on MCA come on the heels of his first career #1 single for “Leave the Night On,” which topped the MEDIABASE Country singles chart on MONDAY (NET NEWS 11/3).
