Ryan Seacrest Foundation Taps Nick Jonas

NICK JONAS has a brand-new job -- as an ambassador for the five-year-old RYAN SEACREST FOUNDATION (RSF), which is dedicated to inspiring today’s youth through entertainment and education-focused initiatives.

RSF’s primary initiative is to build broadcast media centers, named SEACREST STUDIOS, within pediatric hospitals for patients to explore the creative realms of radio, television and new media. There are currently seven broadcast studios in ATLANTA, CHARLOTTE, CINCINNATI, DALLAS, DENVER, ORANGE COUNTY, CA and PHILADELPHIA.  The eighth studio will open in BOSTON later this month.

“NICK has been an amazing supporter of our foundation and recently brought smiles to our friends at CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER DALLAS, where he shared his own story of resilience and how he copes with being a diabetic," said SEACREST.

“NICK is an extremely talented artist, and it has been great to watch his rise to fame. But even more important, he is kind and has a generous spirit, which we know will inspire the thousands of children patients who participate in our programs around the country.”

“I appreciate that NICK understands our mission so personally," added SEACREST. “I’m so grateful that he’s decided to take on this larger role with us, joining our efforts to expand our programs at children’s hospitals throughout the country.”

RSF’s first official celebrity ambassador, SELENA GOMEZ, appointed in 2012, will continue her support of the organization.
