Nationally syndicated THE BERT SHOW reached its goal by generating letters from 49 states, including PUERTO RICO and CANADA, for its annual Big Thank You campaign, which salutes all the men and women that serve our country. The annual effort, which aims to provide every service person deployed outside the U.S. with a handwritten Thank You letter on THANKSGIVING DAY, exceeded expectations this year by collecting enough letters for every troop from locations all across the U.S.
“It is incredibly exciting to see the growing success of our Big Thank You campaign,” says BERT WEISS, host of THE BERT SHOW, said. “I continue to receive nothing but positive feedback and gratitude from our troops, veterans and their families for our efforts to show them that they are appreciated. I would like to say thank every single person who participated this year, making it possible to reach our goal of providing every deployed troop with a handwritten letter of thanks.” !
Since its inception, THE BERT SHOW’s “Big Thank You” campaign has collected more than one million handwritten letters. The campaign has received letters from all over the U.S., as well as PUERTO RICO and SPAIN, including some letters written in Chinese and braille. THE BERT SHOW has even received calls from FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA and former President BILL CLINTON.
All letters were sent out on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10th, in order for soldiers to receive the letters on THANKSGIVING DAY. For more information on THE BERT SHOW’s Big Thank You campaign, please visit www.bigthankyou2014.com.
