Music industry vet ROBIN MAJORS will be the guest of honor and beneficiary of tonight's "ROBIN'S JAM: PARTY 4 THE CAUSE."
MAJORS was diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer last YEAR and received a successful liver transplant in JANUARY; however, he was left with astronomical and ongoing medical bills. Industry friends and professionals have banded together for a benefit concert TONIGHT (11/11) to help off-set the long term support costs.
SIRIUSXM personality STORME WARREN will emcee the event and JOHN BERRY, MARK COLLIE, WADE HAYES, RAY SCOTT, and many others will perform with other surprise guests. Admission to the show is free, but donations are encouraged. A silent auction will also be held during the show with a guitar donated by TAKAMINE at a retail value of $4000 going to the highest bidder.
"ROBIN'S JAM: PARTY 4 THE CAUSE" will take place at ACME FEED & SEED in NASHVILLE. Doors open at 6:30p (CT), and the show will begin at 7p (CT). For those unable to make the event, donations are being accepted online or via WELLS FARGO PRIVATE BANK at 3100 West End Avenue, Suite 550, NASHVILLE, TN 37203 ATTN: DANIELLE BOUHAROUN.
MAJORS would like to thank MUSICCARES, the GRAND OLE OPRY TRUST FUND, and the ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC for their financial assistance through their respective programs, as well as VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER for the excellent care he has and continues to receive.
