iHEARTMEDIA Rock WMMS/CLEVELAND-based syndicated morning show "ROVER'S MORNING GLORY" has set up a fundraising effort to help the family of their former producer, COX MEDIA GROUP Talk WHPT (102.5 THE BONE)/TAMPA morning "MIKE CALTA SHOW" Executive Producer ROB GARGUILO, after GARGUILO's girlfriend SARAH ARLIA and two children were hit by a car while crossing a street in LARGO, FL.
GARGUILO moved to FLORIDA just weeks ago to take the new job; the accident occurred on MONDAY (11/10), and SARAH and their children BEN (4 years old) and SERENA (five weeks old) were airlifted to the hospital, where SERENA passed away WEDNESDAY morning and SARAH and BEN remain in critical condition.
ROVER has established a GoFundMe.com donation page for the family, with all funds raised to be given directly to the GARGUILO family to help pay medical expenses. As of WEDNESDAY morning, the fund has raised over $16,000. SHANE "ROVER" FRENCH said, “Our fans have experienced every intimate moment of ROB’s life with SARAH and their children on the air for the past five years. Even though he’s no longer part of the show, he’s considered family and they have stepped up to support him in this time of need.”
