TEMPLE UNIVERSITY Athletics and rightsholder LEARFIELD SPORTS' TEMPLE SPORTS PROPERTIES have inked a multi-year agreement to stay with CBS RADIO News-Talk WPHT-A/PHILADELPHIA as the OWLS' men's basketball radio home.
The OWLS have been airing on WPHT for the last 14 years; HARRY DONAHUE, in his 13th season, and former OWLS star JOHN BAUM, in his 18th season, will continue to call the action.
TEMPLE VP/Dir. of Athletics KEVIN CLARK said, “We’re excited to announce that TEMPLE men’s basketball games will continue to be broadcast on 1210 AM WPHT. We have had a great relationship with the CBS RADIO station for the past 13 years, and look forward to continuing that partnership.”
CBS RADIO SVP/Market Manager MARC RAYFIELD added, “TEMPLE is one of PHILADELPHIA’s most important resources for producing tomorrow’s leaders. The basketball program is something that any graduate or fan of the game can be proud of, and we are thrilled to continue its long standing partnership.”
